After disastrous results over three years of singledom and online dating I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with more "elite" paid sites such as elite singles? I more info it a year ago and ended up having a 7 month relationship which dating in January unfortunately, but that was nothing to do with the site.
I found the guys on there to be more serious about finding a long term partner rather than getting their egos stroked with endless messaging as they need to pay. It sorts out the serious contenders from the dross.
Elite Dating
Just keep an eye on the direct debit rules because they will keep taking money out of your account unless you pro-actively go into your profile and cancel. Good luck! I used a site called eliterencontres, in France, don't know if it's the same. Seemed very pour tbh. I had one man with a failed bank card on a trip to Greece, then contacted me again with same photos, same message about his job, different name, place, then a third time. Reported, but absolutely no reaction from them.
Elite a paying site. I was elite that surely it would be better for a paid site? How much is it, and what if you found someone great in week 1, are you committed to paying for a certain period? I was lured in as some had actually messaged me.
Anyway despite having written a detailed bio the message just said 'Good morning' and had been sent at 3am. No one really sparked my interest and despite having lots of visitors only had a couple of 'smiles'.
Anyway I found in the small print that if you cancel within 14 days really easy to do. You just send an email saying you no longer wish to withdraw from the contract. I got all my money back within 24 hrs. As a PP you need to keep an eye on the direct debit in any case.
App that meets your standards
It automatically auto renews if you don't cancel. Night and day compared to free sites. Log in to update your newsletter preferences. I enjoyed the quantity over quality volume game of tinder. It helped be form a stronger view of what i did and didn't want. Are you in a small learn more here Or a big place?
They can't just magic up new single men. A friend of mine met his now wife on Elite Singles! They both thought it was good, and met other nice people before meeting each other. I thought elite singles was rubbish. The quality of men on there was dire imo. I tried it and it was rubbish! I had one date dating someone and very few matches because there was hardly anyone fanciable on there. There didn't seem to be many men in my area and I live in a big city.
I also did get tricked into paying for an extra month. Gosh - very mixed reviews! It's a lot of money Seems it's marmite. Love it or hate it. I'm on the free sites but just a shag fest it appears - all people really seem to want is hook ups I'm in my 50s now the men are sleazy cf"s. My age parameters are set from 45 to 60 and seriously- it's slim pickings. I don't have money to throw away but just thought maybe with elite there may be more men who are serious about a longer term connectionin paid employment, not just wanting a shag but if not it's expensive.
I was on both Match elite EliteSingles, definitely a better experience on Elite. I noticed a few guys on both but I think Elite tends to attract people who sites dating free line on more serious about a proper relationship than Match.
Match was just dating. I made some nice male friends on it, but it was by no means all educated professionals, elite I had assumed. There were the usual " how's you? Extraordinarily some men sent dick pics as soon as they had my number.
Not in my league?
Sorry to reply to an old thread but DID you have any luck? I have just made a fortune to join for a month and there is no one there dating I have removed all my parameters and it's made hardly any difference! Please create an account or log in to access all these features.
