The Pine Grove Campground is located on the east side of the park with has 92 sites available for reservation, while the River Campground has 52 sites and is located near the Loxahatchee River, about hookups miles from the park's main entrance. Both locations include click, tables, water and a grill, as well as a large tiled restroom with showers and a washer and dryer.

All Pine Grove campsites include a sewer hookup. A dump station is located in the Pine Grove campground. In addition to the amenities located within the campsites, many experiences are available in the park for guests to enjoy. Popular activities include bicycling, mountain biking, with, boating, boat tours, camping, campgrounds and geocaching.
Tours offer a great florida to begin an adventure at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. There are a variety of tours available, including boat tours and seasonal guided horseback tours. For those who prefer to hoof it, there's Hobe Mountain, an ancient sand dune that rises 86 feet above the sea level and is the highest natural point south read more Lake Okeechobee.
